Cody was born in Kamloops BC but began his hockey career in beautiful Salmon Arm BC, a short drive away from Revelstoke.

Before coming to Revelstoke to play for the Grizzlies Cody was a team member for the Thompson Blazers.

Cody's mentioned that his most memorable hockey moments were winning the provincal's twice one in A and AAAA.

His future plans for school include attending either college or university pursuing studies in Turfgrass Managment.
