Although
Morgan was born in beautiful Honolulu Hawaii, he began his hockey career here in Canada in Coquitlam, BC.
Morgan first became a Grizzly when he played the 2003-04 season with them. In 2005-06 he moved
on to play Jr. A for the Powell River Kings and the Quesnel Millionaires, where he was injured.
After he recuperated he was so impressed with the Grizzlies' new organization that this season
he decided to come back to Revelstoke to get his 'game legs' back - he hasn't regretted it.
Morgan has an impressive list of Career Highlights that include being picked for his first
Junior B team (Revelstoke Grizzlies) at the age of 15 as well as being listed with the WHL Swift
Current Broncos 2003-04 season. Morgan was also selected for two years (2003, 2004) to the BC
Best Ever Program. In the spring of 2004, he was one of 44 players in BC invited to try out for
one of 11 slots on the BC/Alberta Provincial Team Pacific. In September 2004, he signed as an AP
for the Vernon Vipers Junior A team and in 2005 he received the Mayor's Good Citizen Award,
in Creston BC. Morgan played Junior A at the age of 17 during the 2005-2006 season and was one
of only 6 BC players invited to attend the NHL Draft Showcase (Boston) in May 2006.
Morgan has plans to attend either college or university to pursue marketing in business,
and/or a Chef.
His mother Catherine lives right here in beautiful Revelstoke, BC.
