Kyle was born in nearby Edmonton Alberta and also began playing hockey there.

Before joining the Revelstoke Grizzlies he played for the Sherwood Park Oilers, Midget AA.

This is his first year playing for the Grizzlies.

Kyle has graduated from high school and has indicated that he would like to attend college to study Petroleum engineering.

His parents are Rosemary and Don and he has one sister, Brittany.

One of Kyles most memorable hockey moments includes playing in the Midget AA allstar game in 2006.
