The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League completed its 10th week of action for the 2023-24 regular season. The KIJHL Power Rankings highlights the top-five teams based on their performance over the past 10 games, including winning percentage.


Princeton Posse
Last Week: 4
Record: 17-3-0

The Posse defeated North Okanagan 5-2, Chase 6-4 and Summerland 6-1 last week. It’s power-play went 4-for-14, while their penalty-kill went 10-for-12.


Kimberley Dynamiters
Last Week: Not Ranked
Record: 15-6-0

The Dynamiters opened their week with a 6-3 loss to Sicamous, then defeated the Revelstoke Grizzlies 4-3. Their power-play went 3-for-16, while the penalty-kill was 9-for-12. The Dynamiters have the league’s best power-play at 26 per cent.


Revelstoke Grizzlies

Record: 13-5-0

The Grizzlies defeated Kamloops 3-1, then lost to Kimberley 4-3. Their power-play went 2-for-11 and the penalty-kill went 8-for-10 and still ranks No.1 in the league at 94.2 per cent.


Fernie Ghostriders

Record: 14-6-0

The Ghostriders defeated Columbia Valley 4-3, then lost to Creston Valley 4-3. Their power-play went 1-for-8 and their penalty-kill was 5-for-6.


Castlegar Rebels

Record: 12-6-2-1

The Rebels defeated Spokane 9-1 and earned a 3-2 overtime victory over 100 Mile House. Their power-play went 2-for-14 and the penalty-kill was 6-for-7.
